Greek Salad Dressing

I used to buy really good Greek Dressing. But I wanted to make a homemade Dressing that tastes like the bought one. And it’s really not that hard. All that you need is Buttermilk, Mayonaise, Garlic, Oregano, and Feta. This time I used Basil instead of Oregano. But I like it with Oregano more.

Mince Feta, whisk the Buttermilk with Mayo, add Feta, Oregano and grated Garlic.

Season with salt and pepper!

For the Salad you can take whatever you like or have at home. I had Roman salad, olives, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes. You could add red onion or peppers if you like. Mix the salad with the dressing! Enjoy!

  • 1/4 cup Mayonaise
  • 1/4 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup Feta, minced
  • 1 Glove Garlic, grated
  • 1 Tbs. Oregano
  • Salt and Pepper

Whisk Buttermilk with Mayo, add minced Feta, grated Garlic, Oregano. Season with Salt and Pepper.

Prepare the salad. Mix well with the dressing!

About me

I am a woman that loves cooking, baking, and eating. I hope you enjoy my recipes!

My name is Olga and I just love to cook and eat 🙂 Since I’ve lived in three different countries, I’ve gotten to know many different culinary sides. I was born in Russia, lived there for 11 years, then we moved to Germany. There I lived for 18 years and since 2007 we live in Canada.

My family

I am married since 2001 to Peter, the best husband ever.  We have 4 children; Leah, Chris, Davin and Eileen. Our family is actively involved in a Christian church.

My favourite time of the year starts again. I love Christmas! It’s a special time for our whole family with lots of traditions we gathered over years. It’s the time where we bake cookies, build gingerbread houses, listen to christmas music and play board games. And the best of all is yet to come, the actual Christmas where Jesus is born, our Savior!
